Hancock New LTC Apps Required

Effective January 1, 2010, all printed and electronic John Hancock-created LTCI applications and marketing materials will be revised to reflect the new company name, John Hancock Life Insurance Company (U.S.A.) (except in New York). In addition, applications and marketing materials will include a “Rev. 1/10’ on the front lower left corner. There is no change to the logo.

John Hancock is in the process of realigning some of its legal entities this year. Effective December 31, 2009, and subject to final regulatory approval, John Hancock Life Insurance Company will merge into an existing affiliate, John Hancock Life Insurance Company (U.S.A.). This realignment will reduce the number of legal entities through which they do business and thereby streamline operations and generate efficiencies for the corporation as a whole.

The revised materials cannot be used prior to January 1, 2010 and existing materials cannot be used after this date.
